Nice Ride for All, Students

We are adding a new Nice Ride for All qualification to get students with financial needs riding!

In our continued efforts to better meet the needs of riders and offer more opportunities for residents to try Nice Ride, all Minneapolis students receiving Federal Student Aid will be eligible to receive a $5 annual Nice Ride for All membership!

Federal and State grants approved for subsidized memberships:

  • Federal Pell Grant

  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

  • Minnesota State Grant Program

  • Federal Unsubsidized Direct Stafford Loan

  • Federal Subsidized Direct Stafford Loan

  • Federal Perkins Loan

  • Federal Direct PLUS Loan

  • Federal TEACH Grant

Nice Ride for All offers affordable, accessible, and fun transportation options for everyone, regardless of income.

*Ebike parking is free at Nice Ride stations, e-stations, and University of Minnesota bike racks. You’ll be charged $1 for parking an ebike at a public bike rack in the service area. Parking outside Minneapolis city limits incurs a $5 fee, and parking violations may incur a $5 fee. Parking violations include locking the ebike to itself, private property, trees, signposts, or any other structures as well as blocking pathways, sidewalks, or ramps.
